
Background:
9 months after entering the China market, Aston Martin decided to organize their first test-drive event at
Goldenport Race Circuit in Beijing. The event was aimed at giving potential customers the opportunity to
get behind wheel of the cars and test them out in a safe and controlled environment. Based on their
experience with similar events, S2M was brought in to consult on the set up for the event. In addition, we
provided a lot of the background production support and track negotiations.
Challenge:
Produce an event that reaches the premier brand value of Aston Martin, displays the true value and
capability of the cars and ultimately results in increased sales.
Solution:
Working closely with Aston Martin, we selected a number of experienced and capable drivers from our
extensive database. We also helped support on the production and set up of the event, provided highly
professional hostesses for the reception and event management as well as organized delicious catering for
the event lunches.
Result:
Plainly put, the event was a great success. Along with heating up a number of strong sales leads, Aston
Martin managed to sell cars on site to enthusiastic customers who just needed the right environment to get
behind the wheel and test the car. A big part of this was the ability of S2M to support Aston Martin and
produce an event of refinement and elegance equal to its brand.
