The Guangzhou Rams players' auction took place on Saturday 23 August in the club house Hooley's. It was hugely popular with 6 female players and 9 male players taking part in the event. The highest bids were given 'the player' for the evening plus a rugby jersey; and the change to win Hooleys dollars. If their player scores the first try during touch and contact games in the following week they won the coupon. The event was a huge success, with our winger Jacky Chan raising the most money, a massive RMB750. In total we were able to raise more than RMB4000 for the team.
